Skyrock, Piczo, Odnoklassniki for a change valued in an interesting way. Skyrock is definitely worth around a billion in France and one of the top social networks in the World but few people know about it in the US. The list is US dominated but in the top 25 it is very international. Is this a sign of change in the Silicon Valley domination of the Internet Industry? I am not sure about this but there is no challenger ot Skyrock in France and Studivz is a real competitor (and leader) against Facebook in Germany.
IPO access is much easier in Europe than in the US these days, like Xing demonstrated while LinkedIn raised on an impressive valuation so we may see interesting deals happening like some european leading social networks acquiring US counterparts. Why not?
